Typically AC motors have carbon brushes that create friction as they run, which can wear out over time and reduce the motor's lifespan. They also are less efficient, tend to be noisier and are not as powerful meaning your blow dry will be much faster with a BLDC motor. I've been working professionally behind the chair around the world for the last 33 years. Seldom do I come across tools that are priced affordably and deliver a truly professional end result.
I've only had my dryer for 5 days but I've done close to 30 blow-dries with it and it exceeded my every expectation.

My hair is very frizzy/ thick / coarse and lots of it. This baby has a power that I love and is able to manage my hair beautifully! I love that it is lightweight and compact. Very comfortable to use on yourself without the bulky or heavy hair tool I would use before. It made it so easy to style my hair. What I love about it is that it’s an alternative hair tool at the fraction of the price for the Dyson hair dryer and the Dyson air wrap all together in one unit! I love that mermaid hair was able to make an all in one with power !! This really works great! I was playing with it on my freshly washed hair that was soaked and it dryed it perfectly and I use the air wrap attachment after the drying and styled my hair like the old Hollywood waves and came out perfect 🤩 check my photo . Please don’t mind my face I have no make up on 😂🫶🏼

I have hair that is very hard to curl, I have tried every hair tool known to man....I heard that the Airwrap doesn't hold curls for fine hair girlies (especially for the price) so thought I'd try this after seeing the great reviews!
My curls lasted for days! DAYS!!!!
I am excited for hair wash days now whereas before it just made me sad with how limp my hair was!
